More bags and an apron!
Woo hoo - here’s the very first apron!
Last night I met up with my friends Becky and Piff. I did my art foundation course in Worcester with them both and we meet up every few months to gossip, eat and drink!
Today I have mostly been walking dogs - but for Lizzy’s sake I must say that I am very extremely busy doing important things….!
Me, Liz, Charlie and Jemima went on a lovely walk - and found a swing….
I got some free advertising in the Essential Guide for Top Drawer Spring which says ‘See inside for the hottest prouduct trends for 2008’. My donkey illustration (‘Fun Donkey’ AP170) was used on pg 18 under the ‘Vintage’ section. It really helped as I had also advertised in the Exhibitor directory using the same donkey image - and I had a huge ‘Fun donkey’ banner on my stand. So people kept noticing me!
Last night I cooked Mexican Style Cowboy Beans from a special kit - which is available from the website above. It takes a while to make - but it was great and well worth the wait!
The all new shopping bags from Alice Palace were received very well at Top Drawer Spring.
Here are a few examples:
Below is AP128 ‘Little sweet treat’ on a canvas shopping bag.
The top selling greetings card design at Alice Palace is currently one of the 8 illustrations designed to support the charity Winstons Wish. It is called ‘Happiness, smiles & laughter’ (AP94).
