a fuzzy Sunday
Last night we went out for a curry with Liz and Charlie -
Mark got a new pair of wellies this morning and we went out for a walk in the bits of floods that are left…
It is very busy in the Alice Palace world at the moment - it always is before, during and after doing the shows.
Thanks to everyone who visted me at Top Drawer and thank you very much for all the orders!!
I have been doing some freelance illustration work for this company. Shona met me at the Summer Fair at Excel - she is in the process of setting up a website to sell handmade designer jewellery and some stationery products. She liked my blue dog design and has called the website bluedog jewellery.
We managed to get home, in super quick time and I am now very busy with processing orders from the show - and the floods in Evesham are getting worse.
It’s the last day of Top Drawer and Evesham is now on a flood warning - so I’m a bit worried about being stuck in London!
Breakfast at Starbucks was followed by another very busy day at Top Drawer - and afterwards I got the tube from Earl’s Court to Embankment to meet my friend Alison (from uni). We walked accross the bridge and met another friend Becky (also from uni) for drinks and some yummy food at Giraffe.
Top Drawer Spring at Earl’s Court in London is going really well!!
On Saturday morning Mark, Jemima, Jane (the sat nav) and I set off in the campervan,
which happily fits us and everything else we need for the show inside.
It took us four and a half hours to get to the show as there was a diversion on the motorway
- and then it took ages to set up
It has rained all day long.
Luckily I went out on a bike ride with Jemima this morning before it became so dark and gloomy.
But we did get soaked to the skin. We went x-country and roads… and had lots of fun!
Top Drawer Spring starts tomorrow, so today is busy, busy, busy…
oh my, what a grey looking day!
But it’s not all grey:
- we now have a Tom Tom so I can get from A-Z!!
- and the water’s back on…
