We had a late start setting up the stand at the Spring Fair today - as we went for a run to Offenham to pick up our van which was great. We got to the NEC at about 2pm and then it took us a couple of hours to get finished. I’m in hall 3 on stand X5 = hope to see you there - - et le voila!

Yesterday I had a day full of:
Just Right, the cereal from kelloggs - which seems to have a bit of everything in from all of their other cereals!

Wedding invites and other bits and bobs for weddings.
Freelance design work.
Preparing for the Spring Fair.
Lots of small grey feathers in the back garden.
Dog bones.
Phone calls.
Emails.
Low fax inkfilm.
Email tidying (again!).
Invoices.
Sunshine, frost and rain.
Canvasses.
Card samples.
New bag and apron designs.
Labels.
Payments.
Orders.
Spreading the word about all the new designs.
Running along the river with Jemima as fast as I could go, before it got dark!
Curry (minus the chicken).
Chocolate.
Cluedo at the Close planning!
Not much sleep.

...be inspired by the world’s leading collection of greetings publishers and designers… Britain is the creative hub of the global greetings card industry and Spring Fair International is its annual highlight. No other show in the world compares for breadth of product or design - so if you’re looking for greetings cards, stationery, and artwork design you need to be at Spring Fair International - particularly in Hall 3, on stand X5 = Alice Palace! The exhibition starts on Sunday - so see you there!

...after some fish & chips, lovely red wine and conversation with Mum and Tony on Saturday night, I had a bit of a long sleep in on Sunday and watched something for the weekend on tv ...

= good job, as found out about ‘Being Human’ - a new programme that starts tonight at 9pm on BBC3… it looks v. GOOD!

On Friday I took Mark into work and went for a muddy walk around Pitville Park with the newly wormed and de-flea-ed Jemima! Then we had an intensive few hours of accounts and after that we set off for a lovely horse ride. We only just made it home before dark and we all had great fun -

Last night we opened a box of Christmas chocolates and ate lots of them - they looked really cool before they all started disappearing!

We watched Big Chef Takes On Little Chef which is really good - - - Heston Blumenthal is trying to restore the fortunes of the Little Chef roadside outlets all over the country.

One of the adverts in the break was for Quorn - it has some really cool characters…I like the pink, long-eared cat!

Some other great characters at the moment on tv and posters around towns are for the Change4Life incentive to keep kids healthy. The logo’s really great…

The website has ideas on ways to change 4 life, including: sugar swaps, 5 A DAY, meal time, up & about, cut back fat, me size meals, snack check and 60 active minutes.

...it’s lovely to be back in the countryside again - me and jamima went for a walk in the frosty sunshine this morning - and it was really nice after being stuck inside Earls Court Exhibition Centre for the past 4 days!

Top Drawer Spring went really well - it was busy and upbeat and I came home with LOTS of orders!
Here I am on stand A9 - Thanks to everyone who popped by!

I got a ‘Product GB’ sticker on my stand, and an ‘Eco Certified by Oliver Heath’ label too - - -

On Saturday night we raced to see Australia at the Picture House in Stratford - it was good - but VERY, very long and a little cheesy for me! But it’s worth seeing - and the horses were lovely.
