Jemima can swim! and she loves it!
...my walking boots seem to be lost - has anyone seen them?!
This is a nice greetings card by Big Leap Designs (EmmaEustace)…
Yesterday I rode Beanie out in the morning with Anna and we passed some kids in camouflage in the undergrowth with guns which was very funny. A man told us to sit tight if they started firing (luckily they didn’t). And on my way to the yard, there was a man in the road trying to fight cars like they were bulls with his jumper!
‘The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything,
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.’
Today was delicious! we went to Castlemorton quarry with liz and charlie and had a walk up a very steep hill and then through the woods - - and then swam in the freezing cold green water!
hello! Below is a wall hanging (hanging in our front room) which I did for my friend Emma’s little girl’s nursery. It is AP95 ‘Sprinkles of smiles’…
it seems like the sun’s here to stay - another shorts day - liking it. everything seems far nicer when it’s sunny - even accounts! Below is a clipping from Greetings Today magazine - I’m in the Pulse preview section on page 22 with one of the new thank you cards from the ‘Simple, simple, simple’ range whih is going to be launched at Pulse (1st - 3rd June 2008).
Today is lovely. the sun shines and I’m wearing shorts for the first time this year - yey!
We went on a walk with Homer this morning…
After lots of gardening work and the discovery of a blackbird’s nest in our outside toilet, we had an evening at Jana and John Ord’s on Saturday night eating lots! And yesterday we just stayed in and did not a whole lot and watched ‘The Golden Compass’ in the evening which I loved. Today we went over to Liz and Charlie’s and the boys did van stuff and me and Liz did some sewing!! Not normal sewing - we did a wall hanging for my friend Emma’s baby girl’s nursery - it looks pretty good! We had a very posh meal after - Liz made asparagus flan and I made Eton mess (yet again) - it’s sooooooooo nice!
