We just went for a quick walk with Jemima to get some more dog food and walking through town was really funny as everyone was carrying flowers!! Last night (whilst watching Snow Monkey on tv) i ate a pomegranate, and I’d not had one for ages and it was really yummy…

The pomegranate (Punica granatum) is a fruit-bearing deciduous shrub or small tree growing to between five and eight metres tall. The pomegranate is native to the region from Iran to the Himalayas in northern India and has been cultivated and naturalized over the whole Mediterranean region and the Caucasus since ancient times.

Brimming with vitamins A, C, E and iron, the pomegranate has been cultivated since pre-historic time and pomegranate juice contains the highest antioxidant capacity compared to other juices, red wine and green tea, and they’re really fun to eat! If you’ve not had one for a while, you’d best go and buy one! If you’ve never tried one - then you must go and buy one!

Snow Monkey was really good - I loved it when their faces went bright red because they got so hot in the natural hot-springs!

On Saturday we set off to look for a new car - but didn’t find one. We ended up going sledging instead!

Then on Saturday evening we had Mum, Tony, Liz and Charlie over for a game of appropiately dressed Cludeo!! We sent out some very cool invites last week…

Well… Spring Fair was definately eventful this year. On the good side, I met with exisiting customers and found some nice new shops too, had lots of lovely helpers, some very nice neighbours, ate lots of food and managed to enjoy the snow… On the bad side, we had our car stolen on Monday morning, my mobile broke, and Mark cut his head on the bathroom wall in an attempt to get some soap!

We had a late start setting up the stand at the Spring Fair today - as we went for a run to Offenham to pick up our van which was great. We got to the NEC at about 2pm and then it took us a couple of hours to get finished. I’m in hall 3 on stand X5 = hope to see you there - - et le voila!

On Friday I took Mark into work and went for a muddy walk around Pitville Park with the newly wormed and de-flea-ed Jemima! Then we had an intensive few hours of accounts and after that we set off for a lovely horse ride. We only just made it home before dark and we all had great fun -

Last night we opened a box of Christmas chocolates and ate lots of them - they looked really cool before they all started disappearing!

We watched Big Chef Takes On Little Chef which is really good - - - Heston Blumenthal is trying to restore the fortunes of the Little Chef roadside outlets all over the country.

One of the adverts in the break was for Quorn - it has some really cool characters…I like the pink, long-eared cat!

Some other great characters at the moment on tv and posters around towns are for the Change4Life incentive to keep kids healthy. The logo’s really great…

The website has ideas on ways to change 4 life, including: sugar swaps, 5 A DAY, meal time, up & about, cut back fat, me size meals, snack check and 60 active minutes.
