a nice, relaxing weekend!
I am spending most of my time now planning for the first 3 trade shows I am doing next year - Top Drawer Spring, the Spring Fair and Progressive Greetings Live. There is so much to do!

A weekend at home
We spent all weekend at home and only popped out to walk Jemima / get some food - it was nice! I had a fair bit of work to do - and Mark made a wardrobe smaller to fit into our bedroom alcove! On Friday we had M&S dinner for two for £10, on Saturday night I cooked spag bog, and on Sunday Mark cooked a special pork roast dinner from the good food calender for 2009!!
It was A-mazing!
a trip to London
On Tuesday I went to London for the day and met up with Rachel Goodchild (another greetings card publisher) and we went to a meeting with lots of other greetings card publishers at the Business Design Centre in Islington all about the new show we’re doing there in May 2009 called Progressive Greetings Live.

Well - I now know what it’s like to hit the wall - we climbed a mountain in Wales on Monday (I had a small holiday!) and my legs did NOT want to work at all!

lots & lots & lots to do!
It’s 4:15pm and it’s getting dark - ‘hello winter’... it is also TOTALLY freezing! I have had lots to do - and am now looking forward to the weekend. Here’s some of the things I’ve been getting up to (...and, yes, I do DO work!) - - - -

waves and walks
On Friday at about 6pm we set off for Devon in our van and arrived at Lobb Fields camping Park just before 10pm…we were on pitch number 74 and had a glass of wine to celebrate!
Singapore Supper
Six of us went to a Singapore buffet supper held in the blue-ginger gallery (at Home End Farm, Nr Malvern) last night. My greetings cards, canvasses and prints are sold there - and I’ve been a few times before. It’s a really nice place and has a coffee shop too. It took us a while to find the place as it was tricky in the darkness and the sat nav went wrong but we got there in time for starters and nibbles and the main buffet was served at 8pm. Most of us forgot to take our own drinks and we were taken pity on and a bottle of wine and a jug of elderflower were very kindly donated to our table!

On Friday I had the Mary Poppins of accountancy around in the morning and I prepared lots of mounted prints to be posted out. Jemima got a bone - which she was very excited about…
