The Dead Father’s Club is a great book that I’m now reading - and I love the cover by David Hughes who’s website is also cool!
Matt Haig is the author and his previous book ‘The Last Family in England’ was also really good - I really like his style of writing.
Mostly this week I have been preparing for Top Drawer Spring - and deciding what to do with my stand. On Wednesday evening Lizzy popped over for dinner and she helped me with a bit of preparing! I’ve also been up to a few other things - - - I went for a walk last thing yesterday afternoon with Mandie and Roxy - and Jemima and her got on surprisingly well.
And then Mark’s parents came over for dinner, and afterwards we went out into the rain for a drink to say au revoir to Becky as she’s off round the world - lucky thing!!
This morning, I went riding on Albert who was very muddy indeed:
