Alice Palace is celebrating a birthday
we are now 11 years old!
it was Lizzy’s idea to do a time line for how Alice Palace began…
the year 2000
Alice was a millennium graduate (graphic design, illustration & photography at nottingham trent uni) who enjoyed doodling and drawing animals.
January 2004
Alice had an idea!
She visited a couple of local galleries with some illustrations and was thrilled with the response that they loved her designs and suggested she sell them as greeting cards.
The first ever Alice Palace design was ...carrots and twigs are precious things….
June 2004 
Alice Palace was born - it was a nickname Alice has always been called and she thought it was a great business name - she was right, people always remember the name!
June 2004-2007
Alice worked part time building up the business
2007
Alice took the leap and LEFT her job to work on Alice Palace FULL TIME, and the Alice Palace blog began!
May 2009
Alice got TOO BUSY and needed some help! Younger sister Lizzy joined the TEAM and an office move was required.
But what would Lizzy do??
Alice would design and Lizzy would be the studio QUEEN, doing sorting, ordering, sales, admin, accounts, dispatching, packing, product development, providing the biscuits and tea making!
June 2009
Alice Palace celebrates being 5 years old with the launch of the ‘5 star birthday’ range - 2 of which are still popular designs today!
2010-2011
The business continued to grow at a steady pace, supplying to the trade in the UK, Australia and Canada. The popularity of the personalised products on the Alice Palace website and NOTHS went from strength to strength

We moved into a new studio
June 2014
Alice Palace celebrates a milestone! 10 happy years!
The happy years range was launched and we celebrated in style with Friday fizz and lots of CAKE!
