Alice Palace studio
this is my drawing desk in the AP studio (in the crafty room) - it’s surrounded by pens, paper, materials, ideas, and general chaos!
Alice Palace started out with the idea that products would be hand drawn, eco-friendly, and created in the uk. I’m a creative at heart and have a real love of nature, so combining illustration and helping the planet makes me feel happy.
I love my drawing desk, it’s a messy and creative space with all the tools I need for drawing, colouring and creating
I also work from home much of the time, using the dining room table for cutting, sticking and painting! I don’t have access to as many tools and materials at home and I have to tidy up after each arty session! I’ve been painting new sets of letters… i love creating alphabets by hand to use in my designs
I try to keep the majority of my work in sketchbooks, so I can find it easily
My sister Lizzy has worked here for nearly 10 years! She’s the studio manager and is brilliant at all the things I’m not so good at.
