belted galloway cows….
This is one of my brand new designs for the Farm animals range - it’s a wonderful belted galloway cow (which I often call humbugs!)..
(he’s saying ‘I am just myself’...)
On Tuesday I had the very great opportunity to go sleging with a herd of these wonderful cows…
...the national trust farmer came to feed them and I found out a bit about the herd who are all in calf and are eating LOTS and LOTS!
I also spotted some mole hills coming out from under the snow - the snow must have been a shock for them!
This is my mole design from The wild outdoors range… ...it says ‘A friend is a familiar and helpful thing’ - which i imagine is very true when trying to push out through the snow and ice packed ground!!
I went to Newbury (after the sledging session) to visit Janet, Erin and Maddy and we had a lovely time drinking tea and catching up, and eating soup and sandwiches and coffee & walnut cake with more teas! And then we had a walk by the canal which is totally frozen over and has little rabbit tracks crossing it - a whole new world for them!!
Yesterday I did the horse yard whilst it was yet again… snowing!! that’s over one whole week now that we’ve actually had snow on the ground - yey!!
I love these icy photos….
...and here’s another snowman friend - nice hair!
I love Nicky Snow’s collages: This is My secret goldfish…
