big smoke to countryside
...it’s lovely to be back in the countryside again - me and jamima went for a walk in the frosty sunshine this morning - and it was really nice after being stuck inside Earls Court Exhibition Centre for the past 4 days!
Top Drawer Spring went really well - it was busy and upbeat and I came home with LOTS of orders!
Here I am on stand A9 - Thanks to everyone who popped by!
I got a ‘Product GB’ sticker on my stand, and an ‘Eco Certified by Oliver Heath’ label too - - -
Friday for me was a bit of a blur - nothing really went to plan - I did manage to get my big ‘Post a piece of happiness’ collage finished…
...and then Allie popped over for a cuppa to collect some of her ski stuff that I’d borrowed and we ended up getting a chinese take away and watching loads of tv programmes about Australia! Then I had a sudden panic to get all the kit I needed for the show ready for packing it into the campervan the next morning - i was up very late! We managed to get to Earls Court at about 3pm on Saturday for setting up the show - and it was ready in 2 hours and then we went out for dinner and wine at Zizis which was great. I wore a green cardigan and had risotto verde! yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
On Sunday I was on my own on the stand until 5pm ... when Liz arrived ready for after show drinks!
We went to 222 gardens for dinner and were in bed at 9:30pm!! Monday was very busy - so it was great that Liz was about to help (...THANKYOU!). I met up with Alison and Laura in the evening and we went to Wagamamas - - it’s all about food!
Yesterday after a busy day, we got home by half nine - and then our campervan decided to have a bit of a break down - lucky we got home!!
This wrapping paper from Penny Kennedy’s great - I got it to wrap Emma’s birthday present the other day and have a bit left - it’s double sided ...
