BIG snow for the HAPPY New Year!!
Happy New Year everyone!
What a nice lovely long time off for Christmas - it feels so strange to be back - and it seems that I have learnt to ski - but have in turn forgotton how to do everything else - like type, use a computer, use email!! I’m just sat here having a minastrone cup a soup and outside there is lots of snow - yes - a bit of the Alps decided to return with us!
We had lots of lovely sun as well as lots of snow.
Here are the 8 members of chalet 76 - nice to meet you all!!
I was terrified when this photo was taken as I wasn’t very sure at all that I’d ever get back down the mountain alive…
And this was taken on New Year’s Eve when it snowed and most of us felt a bit ill!
here are some more skiing photos… nice!
This is the view from our chalet…
This was my very first chair lift - terrifying! Katie said I couldn’t have been too scared as i got my camera out - distraction technique!
We had one night to fend for ourselves and went for a raclette = very full of cheese! ‘Hot machine heating the cheese and down on the potaoes!’
Mark, Katie and Matt had a morning off piste while I was in one of my morning lessons - here’s Katie and Matt…
New Year’s Eve a la snow!
I fell in a hole, got stuck - - and got the giggles big time!!
My best thing to do was the border cross - it’s great fun! I eventually managed to do it without falling over!
Here’s Katie jumping at the fun park…
And Matt…
And MArk…
