birthday celebrations
and the celebrations continue!!
I left work early on Friday to make some scotch egg pasties (from a recipe in the Good Food Magazine) for my birthday picnic and bbq…
Then we went in the van down by the river and ate lots and played with my new pink frisbee until it got a bit too dark to play…The scotch egg pasties were very very yummy - so it was worth all the effort!!!
On Saturday katie, ellen and jan visited and we had special squash (robinsons apple and pear) and victoria sponge (made by jan) in the garden, and then went off for lunch in Broadway… ‘Enjoy your ploughmans!’...
Then we walked up to Broadway Tower and had an icecream - this is the sign in the coffee shop entrance…
and we learned some facts about the tower - a lady with 15 cats was the last person to live there 39 years ago!
Then we went to take a look at the new lottery funded play park in Broadway and it is AMAZING!! will definately be heading back there….
Here’s jan doing an insect impression…
On Sunday we went ot the British Volkswagen Festival at the Three Counties Showground near Malvern…
I loved this balloon…
This was my favourite sticker…
and this was mark’s…
And this was the best van there… a mon avis
And afterwards we went for a swim at Castlemorton Quarry….
Just look at those paws!
