busy bee
This week has been so nice and sunny - yey! I’ve been trying to work on lots of lovely new Alice Palace designs - but have had lots of interruptions…..and even helped to round up some sheep on Tuesday! Yesterday I went to Cirencester to meet up with with some ladies who like to lunch and had some yummy soup at the Brewery Arts Centre (which has the Pharma’s Market exhibition on at the moment = new works by mosaic artist Cleo Mussi) - and afterwards we had a wander and found a great shop called Made, where i purchased a lovely busy bee notebook made by ‘I like pens’....
This morning there were leaves falling from the trees like snowflakes and I spent ages trying to capture on on my camera on the way into work - and here it is!!
Mark got me the Paolo Nutini Sunny Side Up CD as a lovely present - - it’s great and Pencil Full of Lead is my favourite…
We went to see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus on Wednsday evening - after munching away at Nandos - - no evidence left!
The film follows the leader of a travelling theatre who, having made a deal with the Devil, takes audience members through a magical mirror to explore their imaginations. And I really liked it…
The Extinction sucks range has been featured on the Domestic Sluttery website:
Hi there,
My name’s Jess and I’d really love to put together a blog post about your Extinction Sucks range for a website I write for, Domestic Sluttery - http://www.domesticsluttery.com. We feature beautiful things we like (in particular I like to write about beautiful things for a good cause) and I have been bowled over by this particular range. I picked up one of the cards at Openhouse on Columbia Road a couple of weeks ago and have it framed in my room, I’m going to keep going back until I can have the whole set in one huge frame (and the ‘wonderful man’ card for my boyfriend’s birthday). I love them.
