We’ve had our lovely studio in Evesham since 2010. When Lizzy joined the company in 2009 we could no longer work from the spare box room in my old house and at first we moved into the upstairs rooms of our Mum’s old pet shop, but there were too many stairs (and it was a little bit stinky!) - so we looked around and saw an ‘office to let’ sign in the window of an old town house and we ran around it in excitement knowing that it was perfect for us. We welcome visitors to the office to discuss their requirements and it helps Alice to bring your ideas and visions to life, and if you’re just passing - we will always welcome cake deliveries, or just to say hello!
Small business owners strive to survive and one of the biggest advantages they have over large retailers is the ability to provide more personable, hands-on, and memorable customer service:

If a small business doesn’t have the products you want or need, ask them – they’re also usually much more receptive and willing to order them for you.
We will try our best to create products for you if we don’t currently offer what you are looking for.

How can you support your local businesses?
* shop small. Try to buy from small businesses whenever you can, sometimes it may require a bit of planning, but it will be so worth it when you get the fantastic service we all offer!
* Get vocal on social - post pictures, tweets and status updates of your purchases and tag the small business in it - word of mouth is a very powerful source for small business owners. Also write reviews for the businesses you love and support.
* Share this blog/post and others like it to raise awareness and show your support.
