On Friday I had the Mary Poppins of accountancy around in the morning and I prepared lots of mounted prints to be posted out. Jemima got a bone - which she was very excited about…
I went to take some photos of The Salon’s wallpaper in the afternoon - and met 2 pet ducks called Tom & Jerry too!
On Saturday I got a new lamp - I LOVE it!
In the evening we went out for Ali’s birthday - -
I had lots of Mojitos and chips!
On Sunday we didn’t do much really - I worked on a few of my new Alice Palace greetings card designs - including an owl and a pug and some new designs for the ‘Nice & wordy’ range.
We had ‘Andy the gasman’s stew’ from Jamie Oliver’s book - which cooked for 6 hours and was very yummy!
This is my new favourite mug - it’s from Ellen and Chris on their wedding day to say thanks to me for helping with their invites and flowers - and it was just an ornament for a while - then I decided it needed to be used!
The best thing about the stew was the slight taste of orange.
We had a cookie for pudding and watched lots of tv!
I’m reading a great book at the moment - - as I’m the most secret member of a book club!
Today (which is a monday) has been a blur of work - one minute it was the morning - then suddenly it was getting dark and I was sat at the computer feeling a bit numb and cold - and very glad of my tuck in! We’re trying not to turn the heating on to save money - and so I’m wearing thermals and plan to get some fingerless gloves!
