in Bruges!
We had an excellent weekend full of beer, choclates and cycling in Bruges - to continue in the celebrating of our one year anniversary!
We left Cheltenham at half three and only just made it to Folkstone in time - it was VERY close! We then drove through France and made our way to Bruges and got there about midnight for check in. We then went for an explore and found the famous tower and some yummy beer too…
Our hotel was very sweet… We stayed at Hotel Bryghia - -
We were very lucky and had amazing weather the whole weekend ...and after a BIG breakfast we set off for a wander…
All the houses have these numbers…
There are bikes and scooters everywhere…
...and lots of lovely horses too!
We spent most of Saturday on hired bikes cycling around all the canal paths…
We stopped off for some lunch in Damme…

We tried the best hot chocolate - and it was very good…
In the evening we wandered around eating waffles and icecream and drinking different varieties of beer and there were some cool window displays…
