lack of sleep + alcohol
= lots of ideas (it seems)!
We had fish and chips, and card games with Liz and Charlie last night…
...and it rained all night long.
Today Mark did the tiling and I did new ideas (which are for the range)!

I made a gorgeous stew for dinner:
Set oven to 180.
Lightly brown steak all over and set aside (enough for who ever’s eating it).
Add in 2 x onions, 2 x carrots, 1 x leek and lightly brown.
Add steak back.
Add 12 x baby potaoes, 12 x pitted prunes, 1 x can guiness, 1/2 pint beef stock & bring to the boil.
Cook in the oven with greeseproof paper between the lid and pot for 2 x hours…..YUM!
