last camping weekend of 2009
We went to Wales for the weekend with Mullins and Liz and Charlie - - it’s the last weekend that most campsites are open before they close for the winter - and it was really sunny (although very cold at night!) and I am ever so slightly sunburnt! On Saturday we went for a surf and Mark & Charlie saw a seal not very far away looking at us - we weren’t sure if the seal thought that jemima was another seal as she was in the sea with us bobbing about! We even got her on a surfboard!!
Jemima also found herself a new green scarf (she’d like to be a model!)....
Here’s Mark at the camp we set up…
Liz and Charlie got me some lovely flowers for our camp!
This is the amazing awning that Mark constructed and it got a fair bit of attention from other camping enthusiasts!
Jemima all tucked up and tired after her morning of swimming and surfing for the very first time!
We had some pretty serious reading time!
Meet Hugo the hedgehog (I gave him to Lizzy so she had her very own hedgehog!) - he had a great time camping!
On Sunday we went to Rossilli and had a lovely walk in the sunshine and then had some lunch.
You can see the dragon shape of Worm’s head here…
This was hanging in a car in the carpark…
We went to the beach in the afternoon and played frisbee and had a go on Charlie’s skim board (which he’s very good at) - me and Mark both has a go and fell in the sea and I now have a sore knee and Mark has a sprained wrist! Laura wrote out a massive M U L L I N S in the sand…
... which turned out to be pretty tiny from the top of the cliffs!
