Liz’s favourite animals and birds…

I always get really excited when Alice starts designing a new range. We are both really passionate about animals and some of my favourites feature on the current designs…
1) Guinea pigs…For those of you who know me well, know I have always had guinea pigs ever since I can remember, I think they are wonderful! They are small, really sociable ‘chatty’ little furries and are great as a first time pet. Alice has done various ‘guinea’ designs over the years and this is the current one:

2) Hedgehogs…Often described as the ‘gardener’s friend’ as it eats so many ‘pests’. Hedgehogs hibernate during the colder months and are nocturnal, coming out at night. This is my current favourite hedgehog design (what a cutie!):

3) Owls…I think owls are absolutely amazing birds and I love to hear their famous ‘twit twoo’ sound. Seeing an owl is fairly rare, which makes it extra special when you are lucky enough! I love this design and the lovely positive wording that goes with it:

4) Herons…These are large tall birds with long legs, a long beak and a huge wing span and they eat lots of fish! I love being a ‘heron spotter’ Did you know herons are symbols of good luck and patience. Alice’s ‘Dudey heron’ design is one of our most popular:

5) Hippo…The common hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius), or hippo, is a large, mostly herbivorous mammal found in Africa. They love water and can live up to 40 years!
