Queen of the palace
In the exhibition news section of Greetings Today, I have a lot to say! Talking about Pulse by Top Drawer, I say ‘This show has been really good for me, I’m having a great time. I’ve had quite a few new customers as well as touching base with existing ones, and also some people that are interested in licensing my designs. Harrods even stopped by so I’m very happy right now!’
Ellen and her sister Emily are off to Giffords Circus on the 31st July, and me and Liz are joining them as a sisters trip out!
I LOVE their website design - and cannot wait to go!
Giffords’ Circus in England has a cult following for its retro-chic evenings in big tops, for kids of all ages who happen upon them exclusively at the Hay Literary Festival and rural beauty spots in England’s West Country and Wales. Famed also is the cooking; served al fresco after the circus show, with some of the cast, and by a chef who doubles as an acrobat. Not promising in food terms? On the contrary, Giffords travelling circus restaurant is at the vanguard of modern British cuisine: locally sourced, simple, healthy and in this case wildly sociable.
... Are we eating??
I spent yesterday planning all my new greetings cards for Top Drawer Autumn.
I am adding new designs to both my ‘Nice & wordy’ range and my ‘Yummy things’ range - and there are also some new ‘Birds’ designs and a new ‘Dogs’ design as well. On top of all that, there’s a brand new range which involves fairies. There will be 34 new designs in total.... ‘yey, something to look forward to in the Autumn!’
