I LOVE all of Kate Atkinson’s books…

- and was v. pleased to see that Case Histories was being made into a tv series.

It’s is a rich and layered book - the various case histories swirl around and entwine with each other through the central figure of Jackson Brodie (who is a complex and appealing investigator).

The six-part out-of-the-ordinary crime series is based on the three acclaimed novels - Case Histories, One Good Turn, When Will There Be Good News - of Kate Atkinson. The first two were fun, fast and nice to look at: Jackson’s torso and the Scottish scenery! And I also liked the music throughout…they were on sunday and monday night this week…well worth a catch up if you missed them…until next sunday!
