I’m pretty sure these are sycamore tree seeds - but I’ve never seen them such a lovely colour of red before…

A sycamore seed is a funny shape, it has a hard edge along one of the sides, it has a curve on the outside and the seed is on the opposite side to balance it. They start off green and in a year they turn brown and drop off the sycamore tree, and spin round and around, like a propeller on a helicopter.

The Great British Bake Off on TV at the moment is great! and makes me want to cook LOADs of things.

I saw a bit of Glastonbury on tv last night as well and liked The Dead Weather…an American alternative rock supergroup which Jack White (of The White Stripes) is a part of!
