the Christmas break!
Well it’s very strange being back at work after 11 days off! AND it’s a particular shock when it’s minus 6!!
Out of all the Christmas cards I recieved, these are my top ten favourites…
1. It’s snow my deer (Powell publishing, for the RNIB)
2. Sleigh with presents (Charity card by Pheonix Trading)
3. Christmas moon (Charity card by Paper House)
4. Wintery trees (designed for John Lewis)
5. Christmas houses (Louise Rawlings for Unicef)
6. Christmas owl (designed for Next)
7. Snowy Perch (British Heart Foundation)
8. Christmas reindeer (designed for Next)
9. Peeping trees (Stop the clock)
10. Christmas bear (hand drawn by my very own husband!)
The holiday was great and here are a few of the things I got up to…
...went along to John Ord’s new photography studio…(http://www.johnordphotography.co.uk)
...recieved a very yummy hamper which included the MOST amazing homemade Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, shortbread and flapjack - and has now nearly all gone - THANKS Tony!
...had a visit to Croome Court with Laura…
...went horse riding with all the sisters which was GREAT fun - THANKS to Zoe (and Grey Jack!)
...went for a New Years Day walk with some great pals….
...and had a very yummy buffet lunch at the Evesham Hotel with all the family….
where we spent some time in the games/pool room…
and the toilets there are well worth a visit - you could stay in there for hours!! I found this particularly truthful piece of writing: ‘Alice is pritty in everyway’
This was my walk in this morning (freezing!!) - and I was a bit late as I’m not used to these early mornings!!
look how nosy Jemima is - trying to get in my photo!!
She has a new yellow coat - so everyone can spot her when we walk in the darkness on route home - and it also keeps her warm in these freezing temperatures!
