Top Drawer success !
Top Drawer Spring 2010 was EXCELLENT!
‘The one for me’ design was picked for the Top Drawer Valentines display which, as well as looking great, helped us with sales!
Buy the ‘The one for me’......and three of the brand new Alice Palace greetings cards were in the GCA display, in the eating area - -
(‘A nice cup of tea’, ‘Silly goat’ and ‘Best of anyone’ - the indian runner ducks)
The entrance to Top Drawer was lovely and yellow, with LOTs and LOTs of daffodils which opened just in time!

Mark and Jemima were in London with me this time - and we all had a lovely time…
Mark and I went to a great place called Troubadour on Saturday night where I ate Hungarian goulash which was v. tasty! It’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area and you can stay there too:
The Troubadour contains a number of collections which the owners have built up over the years. The coffee pots in the window are the most famous, but they’ve also got an amazing selection of original enamel advertising signs and really rather a lot of old stringed instruments…

I got to see the sample Alice Palace mugs on the ECP stand which look great - these will be available from April…
Liz was on the stand on Monday with me - but we were so busy, we didn’t get a chance to chat much!
Mark and I met up with some of my uni mates on Sunday night and we went to Wagamamas and laughed LOTS! Then on Monday evening we went to a really nice place called As Greek as it gets - -
We had…guess what…Greek salad and moussaka - - which were lovely and my all time favourites - yum yum. The people were very friendly and there are wooden spoons stuck to the walls all the way up the stairs…
and a very cool logo - which even stars on their plates - love it!

I didn’t get much of a chance to look about the show - but I did manage to purchase some lovely lights from cable & cotton…
