Alice Palace wall hangings and canvasses…
My friend Janet spotted one of my wall hangings in a flower shop when she was recently back from America - she was very excited and took photos to send to me!
The canvas below is for a couple getting married in London - I also did their wedding invite and information inserts which were very similar.
‘We got the canvas and are very happy with it - it is now up on our wall and looks amazing in our lounge.’ Deborah
This is another wedding canvas for Mr & Mrs Swann… (again, I did their invites and rsvps as well)…
‘We put it on the wall last night. I am really, really pleased with it. Your excellent work has been worth every penny. Thank you so much!’ Jennie.
A cold, cold river! We went for a walk with Liz and Charlie on Sunday - so so cold!
Then we went to Blockbuster and got out 3 films to ease us back into the world of work! We watched The kite runner first which was v. good…
I had a quick walk up Cleeve Hill in the snow yesterday morning, after dropping Mark off at work.It was lovely!
...and Jemima went crazy!
I then had LOTS of catching up to do - it’s feeling strange doing work again!
I went to visit Albert t the end of the day - it was too icy to ride him - but he got an apple and a quick groom and I cleaned his tack too.
When I got back, I took down all the Christmas decorations - bye bye Christmas!
Then we watched Juno.... I love all the music and the animation…
p.s sorry, it’s back to Christmas - - I won the Christmas day mince pie competition! Mine were puff pastry and tree shaped (you can’t really see them as they’re right at the back!).
And here are some of my favourite Christmas cards from 2008....
This one’s from Oxfam…
This one’s my favourite - from WHSmiths…
This is from the Museums & Galleries Collection…
This is from Paperchase…
This is a sainsbury’s card…
This is one of Anker Internationals Christmas Collcetion…
I love teasels and i also love the colour purple now (i used to hate it!) - this card’s designed exclusively for Next.
This is a Phoenix Trading card called Placing the star by Dale Simpson…
This is the inside of a Christmas card to Alice Palace from Winston’s Wish…
And a bit more Christmas stuff - - We had a fun lunch with Kim, Devin & Ali over Christmas and then went on a nice walk - it was really great to see them again as they live in America.
Last night we watched the final film: The Dark Knight… it was o dot k dot…
