Wedding no. 2
On Friday I went to Guiting Power to help ellen and chris with the transformation of the village hall for their wedding reception and I saw a massive deer in a field on the way which really made my day! The hall looked amazing…
That evening we met up for a drink in the tapas bar in winchcombe to say goodbye to ellen waters!!
We got up on Saturday morning and I thought I had all the time in the world - - and then raced about and nearly didn’t get to the wedding on time!
They got married in Morton and Mrs Yeates looked beautiful! And Chris’s sister Rachel read The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear which I loved!
We had a buffet style meal which was really yummy and we wrote messages on wish lanterns…
In the evening they had a beatles tribute band which was BRILLIANT!
We stayed in our van that night and drove off to a breakfast spot in the morning!
And stopped off to get some fresh veg and a look at snowshill lavender too…
I have now finished the 2nd Mr Gum book - which was once again very funny. I’m going to try and borrow the next two from Katie asap!
