On the second day we found another deserted beach in the morning… - and then a more commercial version in the afternoon…which was amazing and had REALLY great bean bag loungers! And we still had the place pretty much to ourselves!

Mark and I escaped to Thassos for a week and it was LOTS of fun…apparantly our flight was the last one to go before another load of cancellations… - so we were v. lucky (although we had to set off at 3:30am to get our flight)! We got a ferry over from the mainland to Thassos island and were acco…

Woo hoo, hip hip hooray, doesn’t time fly when you are having fun!! I cannot believe it has been a whole year (and two weeks) since my first day working at Alice Palace.

yum - I LOVE shredded wheat! remember how there always used to be 3 in a pack and you felt obliged to eat them all - well now they are packaged in a pair = no problem!! - - skips are another great food memory… try some - they’re still just as yummy!

On Tuesday, Mark and I braved it through the bank holiday Monday traffic (which was particularly bad at one roundabout, which we sat at for over an hour!!) to go to London to see the Pick me up show - we ate sweets along the way - these starburst smoothies are yummy!

Jemima and I went to Badminton Horse Trials with Allie on Sunday. It was all cold and rainy and windy in the morning - but we thought we’d brave it - and it did clear up a bit in the afternoon! But it was VERY muddy!
