    Jemima and I had a lovely sunny walk into work this morning admiring ALL the spiders webs - there were 1000’s of them!

  • Meg Rivers

    Liz and myself have long been fans of Meg Rivers who make lovely cakes which can be posted as nice surprises to special friends - so we were very excited when we found that they now have a shop open - - and we visited on saturday for tea and cake!
  • sweets, sweets, sweets!

    Lizzy visited the new sweet shop that’s now next door on Tuesday afternoon and we had fun (while we worked) with fizz bombs, rhubarb & custards and lemon bon bons!
  • a wedding near reading!

    My LOVELY friends Alison and Punit got married on Friday last week and it was a great day!

    We had a day trip to Llangennith on Sunday - everyone had lots of fun!!

    I designed a little flyer for the children at the Miracles Centre in Bosnia - these will be given to each child in the centre who have lost their families in landmines as a reminder that there is always someone nearby who cares for them and that they never walk alone.     I’m pretty sure these are sycamore tree seeds - but I’ve never seen them such a lovely colour of red before… A sycamore seed is a funny shape, it has a hard edge along one of the sides, it has a curve on the outside and the seed is on the opposite side to balance it.
