Greeting card design

By Alice on

One of my first greeting card designs must have been this card, that I made as a child!

After doing my graphic design degree, I had lots of illustration work which I showed to people and the general consensus was that the illustrations would make good greetings cards. In 2004 I went ahead and booked my first trade show at Top Drawer and exhibited the card designs, and that was how Alice Palace began. This was the first design called carrots and twigs...

I learned as I went, and was continuously creating new designs to exhibit at all the trade shows I did each year. I created thousands of greeting card designs over 12 years - and then about 10 years ago, I stopped selling greeting cards to shops, and re-focused on personalised gifts and cards, and bespoke designs. The other day I had a real urge to create a new collection of greeting cards and I now have the begginings of 150 new designs on the go!

It's very exciting and I'm loving making them. They're going to be A6 size and will hopefully be available in a month or so...
