Yey - I had lots of mentions in April’s Progressive greetings ... Firstly my ad for Pulse. ‘Remember the simple things in life’ = that’s certainly something worth remembering!
And then I am also in the innovations section with one of my new card designs called ‘Happy horse’ which will be launched at Pulse in June.
Today I had a visit to London and had a meeting about taking my designs to America!
a nice wine label - we drank this wine last night when we got back from an afternoon at Wildmoor Spa near Stratford…very relaxing and fun - and nice food and a smoothie! Ellen gave me the wine for printing her wedding invites - which do look very good indeed!!
Victoria and Andy’s wedding invites, invite inserts and evening invites were printed today.

My idea of a perfect day:
Had a not-too-early-morning walk, followed by a yummy full breakfast.
Today we set off early for Wales and arrived at the surf hire shop in Llangennith at midday, and I got a very thick wetsuit and some boots to tempt me into the sea!!
Last night I went out with my friend Allie to Moran’s in Cheltenham - had some food and wine and chats - nice! It’s apparantly a really good place to go for coffee and cakes in the day - - may have to try it out!
Today I have been working on more of the illustrations for my ‘Breaking new ground’ range. So far I have completed one for surfing, one for snowboarding and one for BBQing.
It just so happens that Greetings Today had an article all about men’s greetings cards in their April issue… and the card and stationery buyer for Selfridges says that she always struggles to find good male cards - ‘There are some about but they always seem to be the same, and it’s very difficult to find something that you can’t also find somewhere on the high street. That’s no good for us as we need to be different.’ ...So I’m thinking that these cards could do quite well!!
