rest of our holibobs…
By Alice on
we went to an AMAZING house called birdsong with 3 other couples and their toddlers (so 12 of us and 2 dogs as well)... the house is set amongst the monterey pines and has wonderful views, even in rain wind and storms!
there was a path straight down to the beach from the bottom of the garden - with lots of beautiful flowers…
this may look like a nice day - but the sea was completely freezing and these boys were almost blue on their return…
this is tilly the dog (having a very still moment)
this is jemima, peeping in on dinner! (a great pie, beautifully made by dave)
us ladies escaped for a cream tea moment in Madeline’s tea rooms (in st ives)
- - The experience is one of indulgence and to savour the delights is an experience to repeat many times! We made sure the cream tea was correctly finished the Cornish way, jam first!
but jam first doesn’t seem right to me!
