Small business network set up by Theo Paphitis
Small Business Sunday, #SBS, was created by Theo Paphitis in October 2010. I became a winner in 2018, and have been attending the brilliant SBS Winners events held every year ever since.
To date, there are over 4000 SBS Winners and #SBS is now one of the leading small business networks in the UK, (and 80% of the winners are female entrepreneurs, you can imagine the toilet queues!).
Each event is full of inspirational speakers and interviews. This year I really enjoyed Theo's talks with Imran Hakim (Theo had invested in him on Dragon's Den 18 years ago!) and Richard Harpin (who talked about 8 secrets to building a billion pound business and then departed via helicopter!). And it was great to hear Jo Tutchener Sharp from Scamp & Dude talk about creating a business with purpose, especially after being a part of the Scamp & Dude photo with fellow SBS winners!
