The 100 day illustration project begins…
For the last 3 years I have joined in with the 100 day project and it’s been such a good thing to do and makes me create an illustration every day which is something I really love to do but in realiity (without a push) often doesn’t happen because of time. This year I’ve chosen to do 100 days of emotions - this is so that I can concentrate on creating people characters which I would normally shy away from, but I’m going to mix some animals in too!

I’m picking an emotion at random from a pack of cards each day and then I’m creating the first thing that springs to mind.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a dedication to something each day - even if it’s just for 20 minutes. Last year I actually managed to create every day for 100 days (the 2 previous years I didn’t manage this, but still enjoyed the process of trying!). This year it started on January 31st, and involves posting your project every day until May 10th! Just pick a project, do it every day, and share your process online… it’s not too late to start with your own daily art project, if you’d like to join in too….
