Here at Piece of Cake we are always hunting for products that are truly unique. We like things that are different, things that are hand crafted and hand designed.
So, we are thrilled to say that we will be shortly be stocking 2 collections of gorgeous wedding cards and wrap. Both designers very different and yet alike in so many ways.
Rachel Goodchild is a talented british designer. Her designs are gorgeous and if you are looking for that truly vintage theme, look no further. Rachel’s designs have been featured in a number of publications, some of which include The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Country Living Magazine, The Telegraph….this is why we are thrilled to have a selection of her designs added to our range!
Alice Palace are a fantastic british independent company, that specialise in unique, hand illustrated designs of greetings cards & wrap. Alice Palace is made up of sisters Alice (designer) and Liz (studio manager). We actually came across Alice at a Christmas fair in Bristol (organised by Rachel Goodchild!) and their designs really stood out. They are so individual and quirky I just loved them (and so bought about 20!)
We had a number of enquiries at the end of last year as to whether we would start stocking cards and wrap, and initially this wasn’t on our radar. But the more we looked into it, we thought why not! If thats what people want, thats what we’ll give them.
It helps that we are totally in love with each and every design we have chosen to stock and Im sure you will be too! We have a select “Wedding” range from each designer that will be available in our store and at the various wedding fairs we are attending this year.
We would love to get your feedback so do let us know what you think. We are big fans of british talent and buying british, and when its this good – who could argue!
