1st day of spring!

By Alice on Friday 21st March 2008

Hedgerows help to define the uniqueness of the British countryside and are an important wildlife habitat.
They require sympathetic management if we are to preserve them for future generations. Hedge laying is a great way of conserving the hedgerows through traditional skills. I think that it looks brilliant and wish our garden was big enough to have some hedges!

I went out on a hack with Anna this afternoon on Albert who has not been very well for the past few weeks so it was LOVELY to see him again. It was EXTREMELY windy!! And on my way home I went to meet Emma and Benjy’s new baby girl called Isabel…she is gorgeous!
