a 3 year wait!
finally… on wednesday evening we got to go air ballooning way up high!!!!
it was AMAZING!!!!!! and what made it especially great was taking off from the crown meadow in evesham and heading up up up and over bredon hill…
Firstly, here’s my favourite picture i took of mark helping a ‘crew member’ to hold to the balloon down!

we all had to help with getting the balloon ready for take off…
we had to get into the basket quick and this is mark peeping out just as we were about to take off!
we can see our house in this photo!
the flames were very hot on our heads and every now and then, there was the smell of burning hair!
here i am way up high!
we got engaged at the top of bredon hill - so it was really cool to be flying so close over the tower….
we had a heavy landing! - - and were met by sheep, an angry farmer and a lovely sunset!
we had a ride on the back of the trailor from our landing site back to the bus and on to our champagne and survival certificates!
i think this looks like a little face on the balloon basket, saying bye bye…
