a sunny weekend of fun
Albert and Jemima and I enjoyed the last of the sunshine on Friday afternoon…
Then Mark and I went to give blood and then had a chinese takeaway and tv night…. and laughed lots at the Flight of the Conchords - love them!
On Saturday we looked after Timmy the cat .. he’s a bit of a square…
and four guinea pigs - Doug (the main man)...who’s pretty cool and friendly…
and Teasel, Bramble and Pickle (his ladies)...who are very flighty and vocal!
We also cleaned our van and let him have a well deserved rest. Matt was over for lunch and we had bread, olives, salami, quiche, salad, pork pies etc etc… This tomato, lentil and basil pate was really yummy (and I like the packaging)....
... and for pudding we had some gingerbread men…who were all pretty happy…
Afterwards, I did a bit of a garden spring clean - and in the front garden, snowdrops, daffodils and crocus were all peeping their heads out into the sunshine.
On Saturday evening we went to the Railway to see The Irony which was really good fun…
We had Mark’s Mum and Dad over for lunch to celebrate his Dad’s Birthday and then we went for a long muddy walk… Hello!
So much mistletoe!
We spotted a deadly shark loose in the woods
I do love these flowers - off to eat a roast dinner now!
