a weekend of nothing much
we didn’t do too much at the weekend, but i did go and ride albi which was fun
We met some other horses, some birds and a scarecrow too…
The crocusses are now popping about all over the front garden
Yesterday I went to Mum’s for lunch and had a yummy sandwich with gerkins, cheese, lettuce and branston pickle…
- all inside mum’s very amazing homemade bread (i didn’t actually believe that she had made it) - just look at it!!
I also worked on some evening wedding invites for Anna & Sam…
Some invites to a seaside wedding for Sarah & Jumbo…
(p.s the invite text is blurred on purpose)
A poster for Blue Dog Jewellery’s stand at the Country Living Fair (11-15 March at the Business Design Centre in Islington)...
I’ve also been working on illustrations, logos and an advert for New Proposal…
‘Thank you for all your hard work with this. I am thrilled with how it looks!’ Gill Skeffington, 27/02/2009
Last night I caught the end of ‘Grow your own drugs’ which is a programme on BBC2 in which a botanist will give tips on creating remedies for conditions such as eczema and insomnia. It was really good!
The series features James Wong, an ethno-botanist - a scientist who studies how people use plants. He creates an informative guide to plants and how their beneficial properties can help with everyday ailments.
I’m making moussaka for dinner this evening, inspired by Sarah Louise’s Greek themed meal in Come Dine With Me on Sunday!
