beautiful hollyhocks and attitude
I LOVE hollyhocks - this one’s a lovely peachy-pink colour.
The one’s I’m growing at the bottom of our garden haven’t flowered yet - but I think they’ll be white (our next door neighbour Mick gave me the seeds last year which he collected on a fishing trip).
I met Mark in Cheltenham on Tuesday to get him a shirt and tie for our wedding, and to get me some shoes - and both were v. successful! Feeling very excited about the wedding now - it didn’t feel right not having any shoes!! I also met Liz who hepled me find a dress (for other people’s weddings that we’re invited to) - I tried on about 20 and got very hot and bothered! Then we made the most of the sunshine and took jemima for a walk and then had a BBQ - this is a mummy duck and her 4 little duckings that were in the middle of town! Not the best place to be Mrs Mummy-Duck!
On wednesday I met Mum for a coffee, walked Jemima, picked up our campervan from a service, ate honey on toast, did some Blue Dog Jewellery work and some more work on new designs for Alice Palace, and made some cement and lay a few bricks!
I also found this = very cool!

Today has been a day of calling shops - which takes a looooooooong long time - I’ve also been doing all the work for Top Drawer Autumn’s website and their promotional material. You have to work so far ahead that it makes time fly by - and I’d like it to slow down! on that note - I’m off for a cuppa!
