One of the reasons for setting up Alice Palace was because I LOVE writing and posting letters (it’s really lovely to get a hand written card in the post) and many of the Alice Palace designs are great for a ‘just because’ note to someone you care about…
It’s so much fun to send and receive handwritten mail, and it’s a wonderful excuse to use your pens and buy nice cards too.
The art of letter writing gets better with practice - if you have a spare ten minutes this weekend, why not get writing and sending some handwritten cards to friends and family…everyone loves finding a card from a friend or loved one amidst the stack of bills!

There’s a great tv programme on that started this week called hidden talent (channel four at 9pm on tuesdays). Nine hundred people applied to the show, and they took aptitude tests to reveal things that they didn’t know they were good at - this week’s talents were were rock climbing and spotting a liar.
...it’s lovely watching other people be good at things!
