We thought you’d love to hear this lovely story of romance - which is from an Australian lady called Kelly who purchased 2 of our skyline prints after discovering our cushions and t towels in the Museum of London…

‘So, just a little story. I am a Melbourne (Australia)-based gal and while at work one day, was informed I had to brief a London editor on a project. This London editor turned out to be hilarious and dang gorgeous (on email) and we started to write to each other every day outside of work. We became daily pen friends and learned all about each other’s lives. Pretty quickly I realised this bloke was a little bit exceptional and after eight months of letter writing, I booked a flight to London (despite having no idea what he looked like and having only chatted to him twice on the phone). I touched down on the 27th March 2012. We had agreed to meet outside Battersea Park Railway Station at 4.45pm. He said he’d be carrying an Elvis bag and that’s how I could recognise him. A tall, brown-haired man emerged from the station, lifted up the Elvis bag and said hello. Three years later, we are living together in Melbourne. It’s obviously hard coming from two different hemispheres, so I thought a ordering a couple of Alice Palace prints of the London skyline and Oxford might help bring a little bit of the UK to Melbourne.’ Kelly, 11 October 2015
