home grown potatoes!
We’ve been growing potatoes in an old metal bin in the garden - and have had them for our dinner the last two nights - yummy!
the tomato plants are coming along nicely too - but they’re still all green…
and the apples are nearly ready too - i will go and pick some blackberries and make a crumble very soon!
We had a great sunny weekend away in Devon with Katie and Matt. They saved us a great spot at north morte farm, with 180 degree views of the sea….
We walked from mortehoe to woolacombe on saturday and went in the sea (sans wet suits!) and Jemima finally did some sea swimming and learned to surf the waves!
On Sunday we walked the opposite way along the coastal path and found our very own beach!
These are the cool pegs that jana and john gave me for my birthday - lovely and bright and indestructable!
AND this is the MASSIVE sunflower in the back garden that has finally flowered and stopped growing - it’s higher than next doors extension!!
We’ve enjoyed the seville rice pudding - equally as yummy as the pumpkin risotto (from Gustosecco)...
