Wedding stationery :: Gem & Vas
Vas contacted me in July asking me to handle all their wedding stationery, saying that they hated traditional wedding stationery! They picked out existing Alice Palace designs that they both liked and from there I worked on a new design for them to include seagulls and Clovelly (a fishing village in Devon where Vas proposed), and a VW California.
this is their folded day invite…
‘Looks great, love the idea about including the story on the back.’ Vas, 19/07/2012 (I thought it’d be nice to add in an explanation onto the back of the invite about the VW/Clovelly for those guests that didn’t know the story, along the lines of: ‘We went to Clovelly in a vw, I proposed, she said yes!’)
and they had flat evening invites…
‘Alice these are great.’ Vas, 24/07/2012
And rsvp postcards… ‘These look great and are good to go.’ Vas, 01/08/2012
‘Hi, just wanted to confirm we have received the invites and we absolutely LOVE them.. we will be in contact shortly regarding the rest of our wedding stationary. Thanks, Vas + Gem.’ 13/08/2012
and they had place cards and a table plan…
‘Perfect.’ Vas, 01/10/2012
‘They look great.. thank you.’ Vas, 22/10/2012
They also had some folded menus…
‘Alice, these are great.’ Vas, 30/10/2012
and a mug as a wedding reminder…
and today’s image for project love 365 is this…
