Hedgerows help to define the uniqueness of the British countryside and are an important wildlife habitat.
They require sympathetic management if we are to preserve them for future generations. Hedge laying is a great way of conserving the hedgerows through traditional skills. I think that it looks brilliant and wish our garden was big enough to have some hedges!
We had jerk chicken (stuffed with callaloo) for tea last night - and it was HOT!!!!
Today I have walked Homer in the morning and then Themba in the afternoon.
Today I got up very early (for me!) and went to pick up Nanny from Oxford with Mum.
It’s her 85th birthday on Friday!
I was woken up early by the noisy road re-surfacing machine - yuk!
